The by-products of the food industry: bread, pasta, biscuits and the like, must be banned from the diet of farm animals as well as the residues of agro-industrial processing such as the waste from the processing of cereals, products which, while being economically advantageous, are however products that may have not constant physical, chemical and qualitative characteristics: this practice does not guarantee a high quality product and exposes animals to health risks.
The use of waste in the diet of animals is not a virtual cycle. Even worse is the use of feeds of dubious origin and not guaranteed by strict laboratory analyzes and long tests.
Breeders must reach and maintain high quality standards, large retailers do not accept products without a constant quality of excellence.
